CARBON COATED UREA

Ecogrowth^® Carbon Coated Urea is coated in an organic complex of carbon and other biological stimulants to increase the microbial activity around.  It is an easy to use and affordable source of Nitrogen and provides growers with an environmentally soft plant-sustained release alternative source of crop Nitrogen with a lower burn potential over traditional Urea sources.

Carbon Coated Urea is designed to reduce volatilisation and leaching often associated with Nitrogen fertilisers. The increased available Carbon and sorb capacity protect the applied Nitrogen through increased biological Nitrogen accumulation and nitrate absorption. Carbon Coated Urea is designed to create an environment around the Urea that encourages soil biology to thrive, the biology will then hold the Nitrogen in place until the plant takes it up. This will effectively slow losses from denitrification and volatilisation.
