Ecogrowth secures funding from the Queensland Government to grow for the future.
Ecogrowth is pleased to announce it has successfully secured financial support from the Queensland Government via the Backing Business in the Bush Fund.
Last week an announcement was made by The Honourable Cameron Dick, Deputy Premier, Treasurer and Minister for Trade and Investment.
Mr Dick says, “We are proudly backing homegrown Queensland bush businesses, providing funding support so they can do what they do best – grow their regional economies and create good jobs”. The funding will support a significant expansion project for Ecogrowth which will see its primary manufacturing facility relocate to the regional city of Toowoomba in late 2025.
In moving to a new purpose-built site and investing in modern state-of-the-art technology, the company will take a significant step forward in providing increased opportunities for its stakeholders via innovation, new products and processes, and wider capabilities.
The facility will specialise in rock mineral processing with advancements in granuleforming technology with a far more advanced sustainable and efficient operation, shifting to a closed-loop system with advanced equipment (including robotics).
Joe Bovell, Eco Growth’s Managing Director & CEO says, “The Grant announcement marks a significant moment in our company’s history. The funding will help drive our Queensland expansion project, which aligns with Eco Growth’s strategic plan to solidify its position as Australia’s leader in manufacturing sustainable fertiliser products.
Through this project, Ecogrowth will have the ability to develop a purpose-built site for operations capable of meeting increasing market demand for sustainable fertiliser products. A move to the new site will allow Ecogrowth to increase productivity, support its long-term commercial sustainability and provide the opportunity to expand into export markets.
Ecogrowth is making a significant investment with this project to deliver wide ranging benefits for our customers, staff, stakeholders, the state of Queensland and the broader Australian market. To that end, we are truly grateful for the support of the Queensland government”.
