Eco-Wet® is a unique soil wetter designed for fast water penetration with longevity, that holds water in even the
sandiest soil. Most soil wetters have one or two of these properties, but rarely all three. Eco-Wet® demonstrates its ability
to hold moisture by spreading water through the soil profile like ink on blotting paper. These characteristics make Eco-Wet®
ideal for irrigation, boom, in-furrow and tanker applications.
Eco-Wet® has a fast-acting formulation that enhances soil structure and encourages beneficial microbial activity in order to maintain long-lasting
wet-ability in waxy sands, heavy clays and normally water-repellent soils. Eco-Wet® differs from normal soil wetters, containing natural polymers,
which physically improve the soil structure without damaging it. The added natural polymer acts like a sponge, creating a long-lasting wetting effect
that can continue for a long period of time.

How to use
Our Residential Home Garden & Natural Lawn Fertiliser range provides the same natural and highly effective soil amendment and fertiliser benefits as our Commercial Fertilisers.
Delivering a range of benefits for soil, plant, animal and human health, Ecogrowth® Australian fertilisers are your best natural choice for complete home garden nutrition.
Below we give an overview of steps on how to plant and tend to your garden. As well as how to care for a newly laid lawn and maintain it throughout the year using Ecogrowth Lawn and Garden Care products.
Planting & maintaining your garden
- Incorporate quality soil conditioners into the top 150-250mm of the soil profile.
- Apply Eco-Wet® with a watering can or hose applicator 3-4 times per year.
- Apply 50-80g of Blue® per m2 over newly planted areas.
- Water in and follow up fortnightly with Eco-Vital® applied through a watering can or hose on applicator.
- Mulch new plantings with 75-100mm of coarse-grade mulch.
- Reapply Blue® every 6 weeks or as required.
Laying new lawn
- Prepare the site and incorporate suitable soil amendments based on soil type.
- Apply quality lawn starter fertiliser such as Red® or Blue® as per recommendations from the turf contractor.
- Before laying new turf, apply Eco-Wet® and water in well.
Maintaining new lawn
- Apply Eco-Vital® at laying at 10ml per 1L of water to reduce lawn stress and encourage root growth.
- Apply 1/2 handful (approx. 25g) of Emerald® per m2 of lawn 4-6 weeks after turf has been laid.
Seasonal lawn maintenance
The most important times to feed lawns are Spring and Autumn. Fertiliser applied in early spring will help with recovery after winter and resist summer weeds. Fertiliser applied in Autumn will maintain growth and colour well into
Winter. Always apply when the lawn is quite dry, then water in immediately. Avoid fertilising on very hot days.
- Apply Eco-Wet® seasonally or as required.
- Apply Emerald® at 1 handful (approx. 45-50g) per m2 of lawn 3-4 times per year.
- Apply Eco-Vital® every 6-8 weeks throughout the active growing season.
- Apply Eco-Humate every 3 months (in conjunction with Emerald® applications).
