Technical Account Manager – East Coast Operations

We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Account Manager. This position will work under the guidance of the National Sales Manager and with prospects, clients and be responsible for understanding customer needs, presenting tailored technical solutions, and ensuring that our products and services are the best fit for their business. This is an excellent opportunity for new graduate or someone looking to use their knowledge of the agricultural industry to commence their career in sales.

Key Responsibilities:
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for:

  • Strategic planning and development of new business opportunities.
  • Managing and expanding a diverse distributor base across horticultural, turf, and agricultural sectors.
  • Building and nurturing long-term customer relationships.
  • Marketing and promotion including product demonstrations and presentations to showcase our eco-friendly products.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Providing regional sales plans and forecasts.
  • Offering technical product advice and agronomic solutions to growers.

Who you are:
We are looking for a professional with a passion for sales and the agricultural industry. To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Knowledge of the agricultural industry.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage client relationships and working with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritise effectively.
  • Flexible work environment with options for remote work.
  • Formal qualification or degree in Agronomy, Horticulture, Agriculture and/or Business.
